My life story: I have had a bit of a chequered life. When I was young I lived in the Portimão area. One day I disappeared and my owners didn’t know if I had run away or if someone had stolen me. Six years later they got a call from the Odemira kennels saying they’d found me and were taking me home, but nobody knows where I’ve been for the last six years. When I got home, there was another dog there with whom I didn’t get on very well. I decided to run away and wandered the streets for several days until someone called Cadela Carlota and I was taken to the shelter. As I had a microchip, they got in touch with my owner, who eventually decided he didn’t want me any more. So I’ve been living at Cadela Carlota since March 2023.

My character: I’m a quiet dog, but full of personality. I’m affectionate with people and obedient. I just don’t like some dogs very much and I react when I pass dogs I don’t like. A home with no other dogs and space outside for me to stretch my paws would be ideal for me. I’ll be a good companion to anyone who takes me into their life.
