My life story: I lived on the streets in Bensafrim for months, being fed by kind locals. No-one knew how I had got there and no-one could catch me at first. I was very afraid of people and always managed to escape capture. But one day, in September 2024, I was finally caught by the staff at Lagos Kennel and they handed me over to the Cadela Carlota dog shelter.

My temperament: I am a very shy dog and I am fearful of humans. I like the presence of other dogs, which I find comforting because I feel safer when I am with other dogs. I have been to two foster homes with other dogs and my socialisation has improved a little. But I need to spend more time with humans to learn to trust them - despite my very slight improvement. I am still too frightened to allow humans to touch me or take me for walks. I would really like to find a home with other dogs and a patient family who will teach me how good it is to be loved. It is only then that I will be able to conquer my fear of humans.
