My life story: I was taken to the shelter by the Lagos Kennel many years ago (2012). We were a pack of seven dogs that hung out in the Boavista Golf area and we scared golfers because we were so many and kind of big. People said we were aggressive, but we were just looking for food. We were always very shy and were kept in a pack, always together, because we didn’t like the other dogs. As time went by my companions died and now there are three of us left, me, Girlie and Brownie.
My nature: Like my sisters, I am very shy. But I am also calm and curious. Now, I even go with my sisters for a little walk outside the kennel, although I find it all a bit strange. If the volunteers are very patient with me I end up trusting them, but it takes a little time. I think I’d like to have a family of my own. It’s an experience I’ve never had because I’m used to being with my sisters and, until we met the volunteers, we’ve never been used to being with people.
