My life story: when my elderly owner passed away, the vet in Portimão asked Cadela Carlota to take in myself plus some of the other dogs that lived with me. Suddenly we were alone in a house in Mexilhoeira-Grande, with no-one to look after us. So in April 2023 me and another dog in the group, Fofinha, went to live at the shelter. We were full of ticks, but the staff took care of us and we soon got healthier and adapted easily because everyone was very nice.

My nature: I am shy but I really like all the other dogs and all the people. I like to approach people slowly to ask for petting and giving kisses. I am calm and very obedient and walk very well on a leash. If I could find a home I know I would be a very good companion and my family would love to have me with them.
