My life story: I spent the first years of my life in a home in Luz, living with an elderly couple who, over time, could no longer care for me properly. I ended up living in a garage — I was looked after, but mostly ignored. In April 2025, after a request for help, Cadela Carlota took me into their shelter.

My temperament: because of the life I had — isolated, without walks or social contact — I’m still a very shy and fearful dog. I had never walked on a leash until the shelter volunteers began taking me out. I’m slowly getting used to being around many dogs and new people. Everything feels new and overwhelming, but I believe I will grow more confident with time. I’m gentle and calm, both with other dogs and with people. I need a very loving and patient family who has the time to help me learn all the things I missed — and above all, give me the love I’ve been waiting for.
