My life story: I was born on a farm in the middle of nowhere and lived there with other dogs. Our owner didn’t take much care of us because he was always busy working on the farm. He fed us, but that was all. As there were hardly any people or things going on there, a lot of normal things were unfamiliar to me. In August 2020, my owner retired and called Cadela Carlota to take me and the other dogs in.

My nature: I’m rather shy, but since I’ve been at the shelter I’ve slowly become more sociable and even go for walks with the volunteers. It was a long process to get me used to the collar and lead, but I am intelligent and now understand what the volunteers wanted from me. I am calm and obedient and I would love to find a calm family that respects my still ongoing need for habituation. I am very good natured and get on well with other dogs.
