My life story: I had been living on the street for a long time, in an area where people left food and water on the street for me to survive. But no one was ever able to catch me because I was so quick to run away. Then one day the volunteers from Cadela Carlota set up a trap and I ended up walking into it to eat the chicken they had left inside. That’s how I ended up living in the shelter, in August 2023.

My nature: I’m very shy. I’m very scared of people and prefer to be quiet, preferably under something that protects me. I like the company of dogs and I like to play with them. The volunteers at the shelter have made a lot of effort to make me more confident and they can even put me on a leash and carry me around. I’m really fine, just scared. Everyone thinks I’ll get better and I hope they’re right, because I’d like to have a better life where I’m not afraid of everything anymore.
